I always get these random thoughts and ideas. These keep popping up in my mind now and then and sometimes, by the time I get to implementing something, a few things in my to-do list would have totally evaporated from my memory. That’s why I love it when I can get something done quick!! I was just lazing around and staring at a corner at home, when I thought of crafting and painting these quick no-stitch cushions to adorn it.

I started off by sketching this design onto a de-starched fabric.

I then painted the design using Fevicryl Acrylic colours: Black and White.

STEP 3

By applying Fevicryl Fabric glue around the design to form a square, I left a small gap on one side. I then placed this fabric face down onto another plain fabric so that the two could be stuck together. I then let this dry.

I then turned the cushion inside out.
Meanwhile, I made another cushion while waiting for the first one to dry.

I then stuffed the cushion with cotton by using the small gap that was left while applying Fabric Glue.

I then used fabric glue to seal the gap and clipped the section. I then let this dry. And that was it!!

Here’s a list of the materials that I used to make these cushions

  • Fabric
  • Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Paints
  • Fevicryl #D cone outliners
  • Fevicryl Fabric Glue
  • Brushes

I also made another set of these quick cushions for my reading nook..

And.. I got so hooked up with this technique of making cushions for different corners at home!!

What are your fast-food craft stories? And would you like to implement something like this to adorn your home? Do let me know. I would love to hear from you!
